Chapter 8

DAQLog Walkthrough: Logging Data with a LGR-5320

Series Device

This chapter provides a step-by-step walkthrough of how to configure a LGR-5320 Series device using DAQLog,

and then log data with the device using the configuration.

This example logs data from a single analog channel (AIO), and logs an event when the

TRIG/EVENT button on the

device is pressed.

This chapter assumes you have already completed the steps in the “Getting Started” chapter on page 9.

Create a new logger settings file

Follow these steps to create the settings file.

1. Click the

New Settings File icon from the DAQLog toolbar.

2. On the New Log Settings--Configuring Logging Session… dialog:

o Select LGR-5327 from the

Settings Target listbox.

o Enter AI0 SE in the

Name field.

o Enter DAQLog walkthrough that logs one analog channel and records button press events in the

Notes

field, and click

Next>>.
