1 INTRODUCTION

The PCM-DAC08 is an analog output control board for IBM PC compatible comput-

ers with PCMCIA type slots. The heart of the board is an octal 13-bit digital to ana-

log converter. Signals are generated by the D/A via registers on the PCM-DAC08.

Eight bidirectional digital I/O lines provide a means of sensing and controlling dis-

crete events.
